We always love stopping by Rural King when we are going through Dothan. I always go in to check out their hunting section and they always have all of the brands of clothes and hats I like. They pretty much have everything you could need. They sent us a really nice letter for our upcoming wedding which makes us love this store even more. Thanks Rural King! -Daly and Kayla from Freeport, FL

Have shopped at this store quite a few times in the past, but today will be my last time. I was in the store two weeks ago to purchase some sand for our chicken run. Went through the check out line paid for the sand and proceeded outside to load the sand in my truck. To my surprise there was no sand available. Went back inside to customer service and was then told they didn't have any sand and received my refund ( just wondering why they can ring you up at the register and receive payment for items they don't have?). Fast forward to today. I went online to order the sand I needed for a pickup order, which showed in stock and paid online. I also tried to call the store three times but got no answer ( was just going to verify that the sand was in stock). Checked my order about 1.5 hrs later and it showed that it was ready to be picked up. I then proceeded to drive 40 minutes to the store, only to find that my order was cancelled! When I spoke with the assistant manager, she stated that they should have 30 bags on hand, but she would have to check. She came back about 10 minutes later and said that they didn't have any. When asked when they would get some more in she replied she didn'

recently visited Rural King and had an excellent experience. The store has a huge selection of products, from farm and ranch supplies to tools, pet food, outdoor equipment, and household items. Everything was well organized and easy to find. What stood out most was the friendly and helpful staff. They were knowledgeable, answered my questions, and made sure I found what I needed. The prices were competitive, and the store was clean

This is a neat place to go through, they have alot of variety. walmart was a bit cheaper on the dog kennels don't be surprised if you see a rat 🐁 crawling across aisles as we did on different occasions. My best advice would be don't get discounted opened bags of food or animal food because rats could have contaminated the food inside. I know it is tempting to save a buck or two but could get your animal or you sick.
